Over the years, IHG Rewards has continually evolved to meet the needs of our current and future members. World-class partnerships, such as exclusive stays at Mr & Mrs Smith, a growing portfolio of brands and dynamic Reward Night pricing, bring greater value and flexibility to guests.

Today, his IHG Rewards, one of the industry’s first and one of the world’s largest hotel loyalty programs, announces the first of many changes rolling out in the coming months. A new structure for earning tiers and bonus points (starting in March) is designed to help members earn more points faster and spend them in more ways than ever before. These changes are the first in a series of improvements and include:

Introducing the new Gold Elite level starting at

  • 20 nights with an industry-leading 40% bonus point structure
  • Renamed “Spire Elite” tier to “Diamond Elite” to simplify member perception and understanding of the highest tier.
  • This maintains our industry leading 100% bonus point structure.
    Improved bonus point collection levels in all other elite tiers
